KAMADHENU (THE COW) - SYNOPSIS

            Indian Vedas made it mandatory to respect Father, Mother, Guru and Guest. In India, the cow is considered very important and sacred and they worship cow in the capacity of universal mother. They consider it as their duty to safeguard and protect the cow so as to respect Indian culture. They believe Ganga, the sacred waters, Gods and Angels find their place in all the organs of the cow.

            Vedas say that cow's milk, curd and ghee are beloved to Gods. Yaagas and rituals to elders are to be performed by PANCHAGAVYAS the elements of the cow. Methane gas is produced from cow dung which is a substitute to LPG, Kerosene and petrol. Russian scientists found that there is radio active power is cow dung.  Electricity also can be generated from cow dung.

            Cow is a mobile hospital. A cow's dung and urine have chemical properties and they have a power to prevent and cure diseases from constipation to cancer. "Cow is abode of prosperity" as told by our Vedas. As such a cow is maintained in every house if an intention of increasing prosperity, agriculture, health and wealth. In all Indian rituals cow has been given utmost importance. In all charities GODAANAM is considered highly sacred and called a passport to Hindus to reach heaven. Our custom says that the presence of the dust created by cows, all evils created by NAVAGRAHAS will vanish. So the owner of the house will see that a cow enters first in a newly constructed house at GRUHAPRAVESHAM ceremony. It is advised to build cow sheds in every village, if it is not possible to rare a cow in your house and donate liberally to feed the cows there. It is not a charity or help but it is the duty and responsibility of every Hindu.

            Even if the killing of cows is prohibited in Indian Constitution, there is no one to implement it. Obstruct the killing of cows, propagate the closure of slaughter houses of cows, educate ignorant is our slogan. Protecting  the cows should be treated as prime duty of the Government as cows and their progeny provide lots of income to them
